Thanking too much

Communicates one thing before anything else: you're lucky to be here. The person with authority doesn't open with gratitude — they open with presence.

Speeding up under pressure

When the prospect pushes back, most reps accelerate. That acceleration is the fastest signal of low status in any conversation — and prospects feel it immediately.

Dropping your price
